Illinois School Bus Flips, Several Injured
LaSalle County Sheriff's Department reported that a school bus which was carrying 21 students crashed with a pickup truck on Tuesday, causing the bus to flip over. The accident occurred in the Northville area around 10:00 a.m.
The crash, which occurred in the north-central part of the state, resulted in several injuries. The bus rolled onto its side and the truck caught fire.
The injury victims were taken to Valley West Community Hospital and Ottawa Regional Hospital. No of the injuries sustained appeared to be life threatening.
It is unknown how many people were injured. Authorities are currently investigating the accident to try and determine how it happened.
